Patrol

MSU PD officers provide coverage 365 days a year - 24 hours per day – 7 days per week. Patrol officers are assigned to one of four regular patrol 12-hour shifts in which they work on a rotating basis.

Special Response Team (SRT)

Comparable to what some may call a SWAT team, MSU PD's SRT consists of highly trained officers that respond to extreme emergency situations.

Police Services for Events

Criminal Investigations Division

The Criminal Investigations Division is responsible for the investigation of serious crimes such as assault, sexual assault, robbery, substantial larcenies, burglaries, and more.

Integrated Security Management Division

The Integrated Security Management Division is responsible for the security of people and property through electronic measures. Review Design and Construction standards and project request forms.
