The Integrated Security Management Division is responsible for the security of people and MSU property through electronic security measures. This includes, but not limited to, locks (both electronic and manual), access control, license plate readers, fire and security alarms, and video surveillance. The ISMD is also responsible for promoting and assisting all divisions and departments of MSU with designing and procuring systems that comply with university policy and standards.
Genetec Security Center
Mississippi State University has standardized on the Genetec Security Center unified security platform as the required access control and video management product for the campus. All installed access control and video management systems shall be based on the Genetec Security Center unified security platform.

Project request forms are available at. All project request forms should be submitted to the Integrated Security Management Division and are reviewed by the Security, Video Management and Access Control Committee.
